Start on the winding gravel road beside The Old Store. If you’re feeling adventurous, continue down Grassy Creek Road to New Cemetery Road (a bit of a climb), then over to Weaver Ford Road and down toward the New River.
You can follow quiet gravel roads along the river, cross the newly restored bridge, or drive further to see where the North and South Forks of the New River come together before heading north toward Virginia.
