WYN Festival of Trees
Tree Display Begins: Tuesday, November 18th
Online Auction: Opens Wednesday, November 19th at 12 PM and closes Thursday, December 4th at 8 PM
Winner Pickup: Begins December 5th
We’re thrilled to once again be part of the WYN Festival of Trees, a cherished High Country holiday tradition! Our themed tree, “Grassy Creek Gifts & Getaway,” will feature a beautiful 7–8’ Fraser fir from our farm, a free weekend getaway to Carolina Pines, and a few other local treasures. You can view our tree beginning November 18th, and bid online for a chance to take home this special piece of Grassy Creek holiday spirit.
Christmas Tree Lot Opening
Opening Day: Friday, November 21st
Open Through: Sunday, December 14th
Nothing says Christmas quite like the scent of a fresh-cut Fraser fir! Our Christmas Tree Lot opens November 21st, featuring beautiful trees from Hart-T-Tree Farms, grown right here in the mountains. Choose from Fraser fir and other varieties, plus handmade wreaths of all sizes — perfect for gifting or decorating your home.
Black Friday Sale: Rock Your Discount
Dates: November 28th – December 1st
We’re bringing back a fan favorite — Rock Your Discount! Stop by during our Black Friday sale, flip a rock to reveal your surprise discount and get up to 20% off. Enjoy savings on gifts and holiday items, including farm-fresh cut trees and wreaths (discounts exclude food). It’s the perfect time to shop local and stock up on Christmas cheer!
A Taste of Home for the Holidays

Celebrate Small Business Saturday with us at our A Taste of Home event! Sample our favorite specialty foods and sweet treats, sip local wines, and discover new holiday favorites from The Old Store’s shelves. It’s a cozy, delicious way to support small businesses and get inspired for your own holiday table.
Wreath-Making Workshop
Date: Saturday, December 6th, 1–3 PM
Join us for one of our most-loved holiday traditions — our Wreath-Making Workshop! Create your own fresh greenery wreath and decorate it with ribbons, berries, and natural accents. All materials are provided, and you’ll take home a one-of-a-kind creation to enjoy all season long.
We’ll also be offering wreath decorating anytime during the season — perfect for a quick creative break while you shop!
