Remembering Grassy Creek Community Church

For 121 years, Grassy Creek Community Church stood as a pillar of faith, family, and fellowship in our community. It was more than just a building—it was where generations gathered to worship, celebrate, and support one another through life’s joys and struggles.

On September 14th, tragedy struck when the church was destroyed by fire. Though the building is gone, the heart of the church—the people—remains strong. The program we had planned that day to celebrate the church’s history became a vigil — a gathering of Friends of the Grassy Creek Church at The Old Store Pavilion. You can watch part of the vigil here.

At The Old Store, we want to honor that spirit by bringing our community together through the power of music.

💛 Supporting Grassy Creek Community Church
The Ramblers will be “passing the basket,” and all donations collected will go directly to help the congregation of Grassy Creek Community Church as they recover and rebuild.

This is more than just a concert—it’s a chance to stand together, to remember what has been lost, and to celebrate the strength of a community that refuses to be shaken.

We hope you’ll join us at The Old Store as we remember the past, uplift the present, and help build a future for Grassy Creek Community Church.
